Tour Itinerary

1. Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Travel time + 2:30hours

   You will be picked by our guide or company representative, from your hotel accommodation in Kigali or airport in case you arrive with morning flight and head for a half city tour to visit the Kigali Genocide memorial, local market and inema art center, then take lunch in local restaurant before heading to musanze ,reaching musanze afternoon explore Rwanda’s vibrant cultural heritage with a visit to the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, where you’ll engage with local communities and immerse yourself in the country’s traditional dances, crafts, and customs. This cultural tour provides a hands-on experience of Rwanda’s history, traditions, and authentic Rwandan life, offering a well-rounded view of the country’s unique culture and way of life. Then head to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

   Accommodation option: Five Volcanoes Boutique hotel (luxury lodge) or Ingagi park view lodge (Mid range) or La Palme Hotel (Economy lodge).

2. Day 2: Gorrila Trek – Kigali. Travel time + 2:30 hours

   Today after your early morning breakfast, at 6:00 am, you will be transferred to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch in Office of Tourism in Kinigi where you are briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations governing Mountain Gorilla tracking before you head off to the jungle in search for these gentle giants. with an exhilarating gorilla trek through the lush, mist-covered slopes of Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Encounter these magnificent creatures up close in their natural habitat, guided by expert trackers who provide insights into their behavior, conservation efforts, and the park’s rich biodiversity. Gorilla trekking in Rwanda is one of the most sought-after wildlife experiences in the world, offering a rare chance to witness these gentle giants in their pristine environment.The gorilla trek can last from an hour to six hours depending on the gorilla’s movements, though the trek is strenuous but much rewarding at the end. You will be given an hour with the gorilla to take as many pictures of your choice and later return from your trek, head for late lunch in one of the local restaurants, before hitting on the road to find our way back to Kigali and dropped at your hotel or at the Kigali airport.
