Tour Itinerary

Day 1: The City Tour

Your full day Kigali city tour covers some of the most historically and culturally significant sites in the Rwandan capital. The exact order of your tour will depend upon your start time, but your tour will include the following activities:

The visit to the National History Museum, Kigali Genocide Memorial, Kigali best views, Craft Market, Food Market, Kigali car free zone.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park half game drive and boat cruise

Enjoy the morning breakfast and leave hotel 9am, reach the park around noon, head to the starting point of boat ride and enjoy this experience mostly with more chance to spot Crocodile, hypos,  different specials of birds . Done with boat ride proceed with the half game drive to explorer the south  part of the park . Back to the hotel for Evening Stay and relax. Akagera mantis game lodge

Day 3 : Full Game drive and back to kigali.

Leave the lodge and go for a game drives up to the northern part of the park to catch up with early risers before they go into hiding. You may have chance to see lions, antelopes, giraffes, bush bucks among others. the big five is the main reason of chasing from south to the northern party of the park.

Then drive back to Kigali for a night stay. 

Day 4: Transfer to Musanze and Culture Tour.

Have a morning relax and leave hotel 10 am  , you will embark on your safari van to Volcanoes national park via Kigali. On the way enjoy the escalading mountains which led Rwanda to be called the lad of a thousand hills.

Reach Musanze around noon enjoy the lunch and head to the hotel for check inn also refreshment for afternoon Activity which is culture Tour.

the visit to culture village called ibyiwacu culture village will help you to lean more about Rwandan traditional weddings, medicine, dances and king’s life in previous years. once done back to the hotel for evening stay and relax. 

Day 5:  Gorilla Trekking.

Have an early  breakfast; thereafter continue to the park headquarters for briefing about the mountain gorillas in the mist and the park as well, after enter into the jungle to search for the mountain gorillas.

Stay with them for about an hour while taking the unforgettable photographs and videos.   Drive back to the hotel and done for to day.

Day 6:  Visit Dian Fossey graves or Hiking to Mount Bisoke.

(The choice depend with physical Condition,)

For Those with a high physical conditional we recommend to do the hiking to mount Bisoke which is a great experience for young pupils this is one of the eight volcanoes in the Virunga mountains range of the albertine Rift, the western part of east African rift. The second options is to visit the Dian fossey grave for those with a medium physical conditional. This was an American lady who loved gorillas and fought for their survival against poachers. She studied the gorillas and through her Dian Fossey international, she put patrols to protect the forest. Un fortunately she was murdered by un known people inside her cabin at karisoke research Centre. She was buried near her favorite gorilla digit.  

Day 7:  The boat ride and transfer back to Kigali.

 Leave Hotel and transfer to Gisenyi the city bordering Rwanda and DRC , Take a boat ride to the mains islands and Enjoy the lunch with fresh food like a fish direct from lake. visit borders between Rwanda and DRC, Then head back to Kigali for drop off.
