Shadady Nzirorera was a great tour guide and was knowledgeable about many things. Also he knew points that were easy to to take pictures which made the experience a whole lot better.Verified It was an amazing experience. My guide, Mr. Shadsdy, was very kind and pleasant and kind to me when I asked him questions about Rwanda. The gorilla trek was closer to the gorillas than I had imagined, and the child gorillas were too cute and inspiring. I rented it for USD 15 because I didn't have a cover to keep my feet clean and a jacket ready for when it rained, but it was too hot to use nearly any jacket as I climbed a gentle mountain for over an hour. For those who usually lack exercise, it is only a matter of preparing a little.Verified Had an amazing day in the park. Our guide was Christian who was fantastic. Great at spotting the animals. The on-time pickup at our hotel and all inclusive items such as park fee and lunch was truly appreciated. However, the invaluable aspect was the service provided by John Bob, our guide. He navigated the entire park with consideration and allowed us the opportunity to see the majority of the big animals living in the park. He stayed in constant communication with the other guides to quickly get to animal viewing. My 9 year old daughter was amazed at watching 2 male lions relaxing in the shade. We were able to see 4 out of the big 5 and it exceeded our expectations. This is a tour that will be seared in our memories and we will cherish forever. The one day gorilla Trekking tour started with me being picked up by Cristian my tour guide who was very courteous and experienced.. He explained everything and was very helpful. As planned, driver picked me up at 4:30 am, arrival on time for the briefing at the park, guide introduced to the plan of the day (explaining gorillas lifestyle and safety), and the trek was good, stopping when necessary. If you need it, you can ask (and pay) for porters before starting the trekDriver (Shadady) and guide (Francis), very professional and friendly. The driver John and the guide Frances were top notch, friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. It is quite a grueling hike up the mountain but once you find the gorillas it is worth every step and drop of sweat. I got a bit teary eyed seeing these magnificent animals coming out of the foliage. This is a trip definitely worth taking if you are in Rwanda. I highly recommend it! A life enhancing experience!
