Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Travel time + 2:30hours
You will be picked by our guide or company representative, from your hotel accommodation in Kigali or airport in case you arrive with morning flight and head for a half city tour to visit the Kigali Genocide memorial, campain agnaist genocide museum, or other attraction by your choice in kigali, then take lunch in local restaurant before heading to musanze ,reaching musanze afternoon time and enjoy 1 hour experience of ibyiwacu culture village then head to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation option: Five Volcanoes Boutique hotel (luxury lodge) or Mount Gorilla View Lodge (Mid range) or La Palme Hotel (Economy lodge).
Day 2: Gorrila Trek – Kigali. Travel time + 2:30 hours
Today after your early morning breakfast, at 6:00 am, you will be transferred to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch in Office of Tourism in Kinigi where you are briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations governing Mountain Gorilla tracking before you head off to the jungle in search for these gentle giants. The gorilla trek can last from an hour to six hours depending on the gorilla’s movements, though the trek is strenuous but much rewarding at the end. You will be given an hour with the gorilla to take as many pictures of your choice and later return from your trek, head for late lunch in one of the local restaurants, before hitting on the road to find our way back to Kigali and dropped at your hotel or at the Kigali airport.
