Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Half Kigali city tour and transfer volcanoes national park.

  • Pick up from hotel or home stay and heading to half Kigali city tour with a choice according to your desire, visit some places like Genocide memorial, campaign against genocide museum, Richard kandht house, inema art center,.., lunch time with locals food to experience about rwandan meals. then transfer in musanze during afternoon time reach there with in 2 hours and half explore ibyiwacu culture village to lean more about Rwandan culture including traditional weddings, medicines, dancing,…and head to the hotel for overnight stay in musanze tawn. or closer to the volcanoes national park.

Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking and transfer to Gisenyi.

  • To day it’a thrilling adventure! This  is a perfect way to adventure into the Volcanoes National park exploring the rare mountain gorillas. The national park is a home to 10 habituated gorilla families available for trekking. after this unforgettable experience head Gisenyi the city bordering Rwanda and Congo for a night stay.  

Day 3: Kivu lake  Adventure and coffee tour.

  • After your break fast take the boat ride and Transfer to kimbiri.
    – At Cyimbili, go on a fascinating tour of the artisanal coffee plantations, Expolorer more about coffe plantation from lands to the cup.  after this experience proceed with boat ride to kibuye and enjoy lunch with fresh food like fish,.. 
  • Spend a capo munities relaxing at lake shore, then discover the lake by kayaking to the bat island, leave the boat and do the hiking to Napoleon island, Enjoy it’ great views, take your time to take good souvenirs pictures and embarking the boat again  heading to the shores for departure to the hotel for everning relax and stay.

Day 4: The Canopy way walk adventure and Tea exprience.

  • Have a morning relax and breakfast , leave hotel 11 am to driver and catch up nyungwe national park reception for your afternoon activities  start by the canopy way walk, Discover this one which is 70 meters suspended metallic bridge, this one will give you a great overview of Nyungwe forest and on a luck day spot one or two more primates in the forest as you take a walk on this bridge.
  • After this great experience proceed with  tea plantation visit, Gisakura tea gardens, learn on how tea if plated to harvesting time and processing. You will take great photos and later drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and Colobus Monkey Trek.

  • Early wake up and head to the park reception reach there 5am for briefing and departure for the chimpanzees, You will be entitled to one hour on finding the chimpanzees, discover their behaviors and stay a capo munities with them.
  • Head back to uwinka reception take lunch and a bit relax for afternoon activity,  have briefing before you head to search for the colobus monkeys, and on finding them, you will be allowed to take as many pictures as you wish . To day you are done with adventure and head to the hotel for evening stay and relax.

Day 6: Back to Kigali and  king palace museum.

  • Take the break fast and leave hotel 9am to drive around 6 hours, have en-route lunch and stopover for leg stretching , visit  Nyanza King’s Palace Museum, the King’s Mutara III Rudahigwa’s Palace. It offers a detailed look into the Rwandan monarchical system and its abolition in early 1960s due to colonialism.  Reach Kigali in evening.  Depending to your plan  transfer direct to the hotel/home stay or airport for your drop off.
