Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali city and transfer to Akagera
After your morning breakfast, visit kigali genocide memorial, kigali car free zone and kimironko local market.
Leave Kigali by 11hoo mid-way: Stop-over by Imigongo Art Center and cafe for leg stretching, viewing Imigongo arts, using the washrooms, take lunch. Reaching Akagera by 3h30, proceed with registration formalities and head to Akagera Game Lodge for check inn and refreshment. After drive through the park to Ihema lake, the largest lake in the park and the second largest in Rwanda. Enjoy the sun sit boat ride and explore crocs and hippos,……. After the boat ride, head to Akagera Game Lodge for everning relax, dinner and stay.
Day 2: Daily Game drive, Boat cruise and night game drive
Have your breakfast and leave hotel 07h30 ready for a half game drive with a target to catch the boat cruise at 3pm and night game drive at 5 pm. Explore the majestic Akagera National Park, home to a variety of savannah, wildlife animals and lakes. Akagera National Park has a diversity of wildlife including Big five, giraffes, zebras, impalas and many others. maximize birdwatching and enjoying the view of different lakes and landscape. Explorer the night game drive in search for nocturnal animals.
Day 3: Half Game drive and drive back to kigali.
The third day activities include the morning wildlife viewing with the chance to spotting hyenas and those missing during previous 2 days.
Continue game drive and maximize it before heading back to Kigali in the afternoon. for your droop off at your hotel, airport or any other preferred place in Kigali city.
